Riverside Stadium


Riverside Stadium is a modern development located in North Muirton, Perth, Scotland.

It provides a home to Jeanfield Swifts FC playing in the East of Scotland League, and St Johnstone WFC in SPSWPL2. The outside pitches are used by the teams of Jeanfield Swifts Community FC.

Directions:
Approaching Perth from the north east (A90 from Aberdeen/Dundee) do not take the normal Perth junction, but continue over the Friarton Bridge and then take the first slip road which will be signposted for Inverness. This dual carriageway will take you up to the Broxden roundabout. When you reach the Broxden Roundabout take the second exit and head north on the A9 for Inverness.
Stay on this road until you come to the Inveralmond Roundabout. Stay in the outside lane and take the third exit into Perth.
Stay on this road and you will go through a roundabout (at the BMW garage) and then under the railway bridge. At the next traffic lights take a left.
You are now on Bute Drive, go through the next lights and stay on this road for approximately 0.5 miles. Riverside Stadium is the green-roofed building on the left.

Bus:
Riverside Stadium is served by the Stagecoach East Scotland number 8 or 9 bus from Perth City Centre to North Muirton. The bus runs approximately every 20 minutes from Mill Street in Perth. Alight at Riverside Church for Riverside Stadium. The bus stop is directly outside the entrance to the ground.

Train:
Perth station is located approximately 2.5 miles from Riverside Stadium. On arriving by train, you can either walk the approximately 0.5 miles to Mill Street and follow the bus instructions above, or take a taxi to the ground. Taxis should cost in the region of £6-£8.

Foot:
Riverside Stadium can be accessed by the pleasant riverside walk along the Tay from North Inch, an area of parkland located immediately to the north of Perth City Centre.

Bicycle:
Riverside Stadium is located adjacent to National Cycle Route 77 and there are bike racks outside the stadium.

Car parking:
Parking at the stadium can be limited on match days, especially when community club teams are also playing or training. Jeanfield Swifts FC would like to encourage spectators to arrive by public transport wherever possible. If you must bring your car, please park considerately, leaving verges and pavements clear and not obstructing access for neighbours or other users. Do not park at Riverside Church if attending on a Sunday. Additional parking can be found at North Inch Community Campus, a five minute walk from the ground. You are responsible for your own vehicle when parking at Riverside Stadium and Jeanfield Swifts FC shall not be liable for any damage or loss sustained.

Refreshments:
There is a refreshment kiosk inside the ground serving hot and cold drinks and snacks before, during and after the game. Some games also offer additional hospitality, please see social media for more details.
