Jeanfield Senior Keepers in Safe Hands

Jeanfield are delighted to welcome Robbie Hannan to the coaching team.

Robbie joins after a successful stint at Forfar Farmington where he worked as head of goalkeeping, developing a number of talented youth and senior keepers.

Robbie arrived from Republic of Ireland to study at the University of Abertay and was part of the football team that secured promotion to the top division in university football. He then moved on to play semi-professional with nearby Newburgh, before taking up a coaching role with Dundee United Football club and then subsequently Forfar Farmington.

The Irishman will work closely with the senior youth and senior goalkeepers at the club, but will also offer support to present coach Steve Wyllie with the younger keepers. In what we know will become a successful goalkeeping academy, we are delighted to welcome Robbie to the team.

Ladies keeper, ex-youth-internationalist Corrie McIlravey was delighted to meet Robbie. "It is a real boost for the senior keepers at the club to have someone of Robbie's experience to provide dedicated support. We have some very talented keepers at the club and having an experienced and dedicated coach will help each of them develop and reach their potential. Robbie has settled in well, his sessions are high intensity, and he has already passed on some great advice".
