The managers thoughts ahead of Saturday's game against Bonnyrigg Rose in the 3rd round of the Scottish Junior Cup. Riverside Stadium, Kick Off 1:45pm

This Saturday we welcome one of the top teams in the Junior game to Riverside Stadium in Bonnyrigg Rose.
It's a team I have a huge amount of respect for as they have consistently been fighting it out for the games major honours since the inaugural Super League season in 2002 / 2003.

The last seven days have not been ideal in terms of preparation due to the adverse weather we've been faced with. But we managed to get 90 minutes on astroturf on Saturday and hopefully this week we'll get two good training sessions in to allow us to prepare properly.

Since the draw was made a few weeks back the game has been in the background of our thought process. The league has, as you'd expect, taken centre stage the last few weeks and the focus has been on trying to maintain our good position.

Now we have the chance to look ahead to this game and focus on a plan to try and take us through to the next round. It won't be easy as Bonnyrigg are playing well at the moment and rightly sit at the top end of the Super League. In fact, they'd probably be top if the weather hadn't got the better of their game on Saturday.
The good thing about being drawn against the best teams is it isn't difficult to get the players motivated to play, not that it ever should be to be honest. We had a similar situation last time around being drawn away to Glenafton and the players rose the the challenge fantastically well We maybe had the element of surprise that time around but I certainly don't expect Bonnyrigg's players or their manager, Robbie Horn, to be surprised by us this time around. They'll have done their homework and know what to expect I'm sure.

Hopefully it promises to be an attractive and intriguing game. We've certainly seen a fair bit of interest in the tie already and the Pre-Match Hospitality package we've offered up is almost fully subscribed already. That's fantastic to hear and the support we are receiving is greatly appreciated.
A special mention has to go out to Deans @ Let's Eat Restaurant for providing the first class food that supporters will be tucking into. I don't think there are many hospitality packages in the Juniors that will have an award winning chef making their meals!

We're all looking forward to welcoming Bonnyrigg to Perth now and looking forward to the challenge ahead.
