For the second year running the club has been recognised for their efforts in the 2012 Spirit of Youth Awards. After last year's success for the U17s, this year the club won the Sporting Club Achievement Award. The committee commended the club on organising the hugely successful trip to Italy to take part in the San Marino Cup, and also the increasing numbers of players now registered throughout the age groups. The committee also noted the skill and enthusiasm of the younger 11s and 13s age groups who are showing huge potential.

In its closing comments the awards committee commented on the friendly atmosphere generated at Jeanfield and the positive outlook of both players and coaches, and thanked them for the positive impact they have on the local community.

Well done to each and every player, parent and coach for making 2012 a great year to be associated with Jeanfield, and we are all looking forward to a busy 2013 and maybe a third Spirit if Youth Award !
