Swifts Ladies Partner with Perth Based Sports Medicine Clinic

Jeanfield Swifts Ladies are delighted to announce a partnership with Chartered Physiotherapist Cammy Marr and his Perth -based Sports Medicine Clinic (P&KSMC). The agreement will see his team provide Physiotherapy services as well as Injury Prevention, treatment & advice to the Ladies team at their new base at McDiarmid Park.

Head Coach Jason McCrindle was delighted to welcome Cammy to the team. "Cammy is a very highly-respected professional and works with elite sportsmen and women throughout Scotland. I am delighted to have a person of his calibre co-ordinate a support package for the team. In addition to the recent outstanding commitment from St Johnstone this partnership further enhances the support package we can offer our players at Jeanfield, and shows our commitment to them."

Cammy was pleased to help. "I have been discussing a support package with Steve Grossi for a while now and I'm delighted to be able to put something together that is a good fit for both parties. The Ladies have had an outstanding run and have achieved so much with limited resources and encouraging local and young players, and have been a credit to the city of Perth. I actually know and have treated quite a few of the girls so they'll know what to expect from me. I'm looking forward to helping support their first ever season at Premier level."

Striker Eilidh McIntyre will be one of the first to benefit. "I have just returned from about 6 months after a bad achilles injury. Having physiotherapy and general advice at the club is going to really help speed up and improve the quality of my recovery. It isn't just the fact that as a player I now don't have to pay for the support, but I know Cammy and know the quality of support that his team will provide."
