The Swifts travelled to Glenesk Park, home of Dundee Violet FC, to face Broughty United AFC in the North of Tay semi-final.

Broughty started brightly, creating several early chances, while Jeanfield came close to opening the scoring, only for the ball to somehow stay out. It was Broughty who eventually broke the deadlock in the 34th minute with a lofted pass over the top— their striker outpaced the defender and coolly lobbed the keeper. They continued to push for a second, and just before the break, they were awarded a free kick on the edge of the box after a foul. The resulting effort was curled over the wall and into the net, marking the final action of the first half.

Jeanfield came out with intent in the second half and got back into the match in the 55th minute. K. Brown threaded a lovely ball through to A. Abboud, who drove into the box and slotted it under the keeper to make it 2-1.

With momentum on their side, Jeanfield continued to threaten, but in the 72nd minute, a short back pass to the keeper gifted Broughty a third goal as their striker pounced and finished clinically.

At 3-1, Broughty managed the game well, and despite Jeanfield's efforts, they couldn't find another breakthrough.
