This week the 2003 boys team will find out if they have won a prestigious local Youth award.

The Spirit of Youth Awards aim to recognise the achievements of young people in the Arts, Health, Sports and the Community across Perth and Kinross. '

The 2003 team have been nominated in the youth team category which will recognise "A group of young people who have come together to achieve something special"

2003 coach Steve Duncan said "We nominated boys for their dedication, hard work and effort and for the way they have represented Jeanfield and Perth so well on many occasions. They have grown in confidence, developed resilience and also learned the value of teamwork"

The winning entries will be selected by an independent panel of judges. The team will attend a special ceremony to be held in Perth Concert Hall on Thursday 19 November 2015 when the winners will be announced.

Nearly ninety nominations have been received meaning there will be stiff competition this year with only twenty-six accolades available.
