U11s Jazz at home to Dundee Utd Tangerines
Was another exciting game for the girls today which hopefully the parents enjoyed?
Frustrating start again as we are taking too long to get going, but once up and running some great passing and excellent wide play by the girls and going forward at pace. We again should have won the game with the possession and chances that we had. 1st half we had the goal line scramble where hit post and bar, then Alyssa was unlucky in the 2nd half where the ball hit the post but rolled the wrong side of the line.
Again, lessons to be learn and areas to work on but another good performance by the girls. Great team spirit.

U11s Jets Sponsored by YODENKI.COM

U11s Jets at home to Bayside Flames
A highly competitive and entertaining fixture this morning against arguably the best U11 side in Tayside and Fife who’ve beaten many U13 teams and their own boy’s squad. Final score was their closest since last season and first time they’ve conceded 2 goals in a game.
Bayside started brightly and took an early lead. The girls rallied and battled hard with player of the day, GK Cayla in outstanding form.
With Niamh missing due to Covid isolation, young Hollie Coventry stepped up from the Jazz squad and deservedly netted before halftime with Morgan and Keira defending resolutely at the other end.
Second half was equally competitive with Jazz players Mara and Katie thrown in and both did themselves and John’s Jazz squad proud.
But it was Bayside were the strongest today despite the magnificent efforts GK Cayla.
Lots of learning but significant progress being made with girls looking forward to next weekend with a few regular’s due back to boost the squad numbers.

U13s Sponsored by BLUE COO CREATIVE & INTERPHASE UK

U13s away to Dunfermline Pumas
U13s travelled to Dunfermline with 4 players missing due to various reasons, we started the game well and had a fair few chance in front of goal before Lexi put the ball past the keeper, Dunfermline battled back into the game but Cara was in great form and saving everything thrown at her, including a shot from 4 yards out which was saved by her forehead. We continued to put pressure on and were rewarded with a 15-yard strike from Grace to head into half time leading 2 – 0
Second half started well, we decided to push up the park and put pressure on the Dunfermline defence which paid off with a 25yard belter from Kristen. Dunfermline had their chances but Cara and the woodwork kept them out. With 12/14mins to go Kristen added to her tally with excellent teamwork and a fine finish. A special mention to Violet & Robin on making their u13 debut today.
Final Score Dunfermline Pumas 0 Jeanfield 4

U15s Sponsored by DEAN CIVIL ENGINERING & PR PLANT SCOTLAND & DOW GROUP UK
U15s at home to Forfar Farmington
Excellent display of attacking football from the U15s today from the start their pressing and work rate was really pushing Forfar back creating numerous chances which either went straight at the keeper or narrowly wide.
The deadlock was finally broken from a shot from outside the area by the excellent Abbie Telford who had a tremendous game today.
The 2nd and 3rd goal arrived soon, after an assist for Abbie Johnstone from a corner which fell to Chloe Grant who finished well,
Then Abbie Johnstone got in and made it 3nil at half-time.
The 2nd half started the same way as the first with relentless pressure more good work from the ever-determined Katie Henderson who shot against the post and followed up to finish smartly.
Abbie Johnstone got her 2nd with a tremendous bit of skill on the edge of the box lifting the ball over the defender’s head and lobbying the goalkeeper ?
Abbie Johnstone completed her hat trick after being tripped in the area and taking the resulting penalty.
There was still time for the scoring to be rounded off by Katie Henderson who perseverance was evident all game and set the tone for the way we want to approach games going forward.
Another clean sheet for the back 5 in what was a near perfect performance when on another day we could have had double figures.
Final Score – Jeanfield 7 Forfar 0

U17s Sponsored by Richard Irvine FM
U17s at home to Dundee Utd Academy
A couple of moments in the tight first half were Jeanfield players switched off at times resulted in Dundee Utd going in 1-3 at HT Jodie Barclay with a great headed goal for Jeanfield.
The 2nd half Jeanfield were guilty of again allowing a well organised and sharp Dundee Utd girls to get in and finish opportunities to make the final score line 1-7 a day to learn from and work hard this week to get back to playing the way the girls have since the season started.
Final Score Jeanfield 1 Dundee United 7
