Megan Earns her Spurs at Jeanfield

Jeanfield Swifts Ladies are delighted to confirm the signing of striker Megan Moss. Megan has been training with the club recently and Head Coach Jason McCrindle wasted no time in securing her signature.

Megan has enjoyed a varied and impressive list of football experiences to date. Having played competitively in Northern California for various local clubs in her younger days she then played 4 years of NCAA collegiate soccer at her undergrad Chapman University (Southern California) from 2007-2011.

After graduating, she moved to London where she played for Tottenham Hotspur Ladies 2011-2012. At the end of that season she had the opportunity to go to Spain and play in a friendly for Barcelona Ladies senior team, where she also trained for a week. At the same time as she was playing for Barcelona we believe her new teammates were battling out a midweek draw at Charlotte Street in Dundee (beat that Megan !)

She moved back to California where she played for WPSL team Tottenham Hotspur East Bay Ladies who were the official sister club to the one in London, and were also the regional champions (Northern California) 2015. Megan then moved to Scotland where she got her MSc in Marketing and continued her football with SWPL1 side Stirling University.

Megan was delighted to formally join the club tonight. "I'm very excited for the opportunity to play for Jeanfield. I've had the opportunity to train with them for a few weeks, and they seem like a great group of determined and hard working girls. The energy and enthusiasm Jason brings to the trainings is contagious."

Megan is presently working as Engagement Manager for St Johnstone FC and will therefore feel at home when she debuts for the Ladies at their McDiarmid base.

Jason McCrindle welcomed Megan to the club. "I'm delighted to add Megan to the squad for 2017. Having secured the full available squad from last year I was looking only to add a couple of signings and wanted to concentrate on quality over quantity. Megan is the first and I hope to confirm the other next week. Megan has been first class. She has fitted in really well, has a fantastic attitude and her style will compliment what I already have in the forward areas. I'm really looking forward to working with her".
