The second half began as the first half ended with both teams trying to play football and going for goal. The pitch was very heavy and both teams started to tire as the clock ticked away.

Coupar Angus started to get desperate and started throwing everything at Jeanfield which created many gaps. Most notable was when the Coupar keeper came way out of his box and lost the ball about 40 yards from his goal. Bell had only one thing in mind, however his legs had different ideas. He hit it as hard as he could towards the open goal, unfortunately he didn’t manage to reach it.

With minutes to go Coupar Angus put in a corner into the box which just wasn’t cleared and after it bounced about a little the Coupar centre half placed his shot into the corner of the net for the equaliser GOAL 2-2 Coupar Angus.

Jeanfield couldn’t believe they didn’t kill off the game and move through next round.
