2 goals in the last 10 minutes saw Swifts come from behind to claim what could be a valuable 3 points in the race for the Super League.
Lewis Baker & Chris Dodd came off the broken bench to score the goals as Swifts had to battle in the Monday night sun.
Swifts went behind when a cross from the right was knocked past Mitchell at the near post by McVicar. Just before half time Kelly was clattered in the box and a penalty was awarded. As he did on Saturday Stevie McManus smashed the ball past the keeper giving Swifts a lifeline.
Swifts dominated the 2nd period but were missing chance after chance & had to rely on a great block from Mitchell to stop them going behind. With 10 minutes left Baker let fly from the edge of the box & the ball seemed to take for ever to go in but did so with the help of the post to spark scenes on the Jeanie bench. Into injury time Dodd ran along the goal line before calmly stroking past the keeper.
A huge 3 points for Swifts as our promotion rivals both dropped vital points.
