Baker secures a vital 3 points

Lewis Baker was the hero as he struck the winner 5 minutes from time as Swifts claimed 3 points with a victory over Kennoway Star Hearts at Riverside Stadium.

Tony Holt put Swifts ahead when he headed home a Robbie Holden cross following some slick passing from Swifts. Wilson levelled for the away side when he broke through & slotted past Mitchell who had previously looked like he was not going to be beat all night.

With 5 minutes left & the game looking like heading for a stalemate after a pulsating second period, the ball broke to Baker who from 20 yards smashed the ball into the net & caused bedlam on the home bench.

Swifts were then forced to defend in numbers as the away side threw everything at them but held out for another vital 3 points.
