Swifts progress to Third Round

A trademark Tony Holt goal midway through the second half was enough to send Jeanfield through to the third round of the Scottish Junior Cup.

Holt slotted home from the edge of the box after Fraser Smith fired a pass to Chris Scott out wide who cut back for Holt to slam home.

The game was quite dull though the pace was frantic but the quality on show was poor with no chances really created by both sides.

Before the match kicked off there was a minutes silence for former committee member Billy Smith who had sadly died on the day of the game. Billy was a former chairman of the community club and did a lot for the womens & girls teams.
