Second win on the bounce for 2006's

The boys were looking to make it 2 league wins on the bounce as we made the short trip to Tulloch Park to play Fair City. The home side were quick out of the traps and took the lead with a good finish from their striker. The boys though didn't panic and after soaking up further pressure played their way back into it with an equalizer from Callum who scored a fine effort from a free-kick. As half time approached the boys took the lead from a penalty when Matthew was brought down in the area after a fine run. Callum coolly dispatched it for his and the team's second. ?⚽

The boys started the 2nd half at pace and made it 3 when Kyle was put through and dispatched his effort over the advancing GK. By now we were camped in the opposition half and missed a number of chances to put the game to bed. However the boys pressure paid off when a good attack was finished off by Sonny for his first of the season. As the game drew to a close Jeanfield had a free-kick which was superbly taken by Ben for a well deserved goal. ⚽?

A good solid display by the boys against a side who put in a huge effort today. It was good to see the boys bounce back after the early set back to control the game. ⚽
Man of the Match was Callum ("Chopper") who led the line superbly and of course scored a double to go back to the top of the Jeanfield scoring charts with his 11th and 12th of the season. Well done Callum, excellent display ?⚽
