Crieff vs Jeanfield Swifts

The boys were off on their travels this morning with an away match vs Crieff. They almost got off to a flyer in the first minute with a really good chance that just went wide. Crieff were quick to make us pay though and took the lead within 5 mins. This was followed quickly by another as we found ourselves 2 down within 15 mins. The first half never really got going for the boys and it was no surprise when Crieff hit us again to go into the break with a comfortable lead.

A shuffle of formation in the 2nd half seemed to kick start the lads and for the first 20 mins had for the the first time in the match some good possession and a few good chances. This was rewarded with a goal from Kyle who found himself free of the defence and hit a low shot over the GK. Our hopes of a comeback though were short lived as Crieff, playing some nice passing football, scored 2 further goals in quick succession to put the game to bed. Another goal towards the end for Crieff put the icing in the cake for them and a well deserved win.

In summary, it's safe to say that this was a bad day at the office for the boys and one which they will undoubtedly learn from. Whilst disappointing not a result to dwell on so onwards and upwards.
Man of the Match was Kyle who played really well today, looked lively going forward and took his goal well. Well done Kyle.
