Swifts took part in a North Muirton Community Council Christmas Gala

Jeanfield Swifts Community FC helped its neighbours in North Muirton celebrate an early Christmas on 9 December, with a number of contributions to the Community Council's Christmas Gala held at the Community Centre.
Pauline Leitch and the North Muirton Community Council did a fantastic job of organising parties for some 160 children as well as hosting a craft fair and laying on entertainment for the event.
With musical accompaniment provided by talented local pipers, singers, instrumentalists and bands, plus Perth Phoenix Cheerleaders, Jeanfield's football teams were represented by the U9 girls and U10 boys, who combined to produce some lovely play in a couple of Fun Fours exhibition matches for the watching crowd.
They were followed by lads and lasses from the male U16 and female U19 squads helping local youngsters to find the back of the net in various drills and exercises.
And the children attending the parties each took home a party bag supplied by the club.
Congratulations to Pauline and all at North Muirton Community Council for putting on a splendid event that really brought the community together. The club was very pleased to be able to contribute to the day and we look forward to being able to do so again soon.
