Scotland's only representatives in the competition topped the league undefeated after 8 games on day 1. They went on to stay undefeated after the final 2 league games on day 2 and won 3-2 on penalties against a strong English outfit from Cheshunt in the final after a 1-0 victory in the semi final.

Walking Football player and committee member Karen Shepherd said, "It's been an amazing experience for the ladies. Not bad from a 'wee team' from Perth."

Jeanfield Swifts Women's Walking Football section was established in 2022 and has gone from strength to strength. They field two teams in the Walking Football Scotland over 40s and over 50s leagues, and also offer purely recreational sessions for participants who are not interested in the competitive game.

The section trains every Wednesday night from 7-9pm at Perth Academy over the winter bu will be moving to their North Inch Community Campus base from the end of March 2024.
