Jeanfield Swifts are delighted to announce the arrival of Robbie Holden as the Senior Team’s new Manager.
We’re delighted to welcome Robbie back to the club where his goal scoring exploits in the Number 9 jersey are so fondly remembered.
Swifts moved quickly to appoint Holden and his coaching team consisting of assistant manager Richie Montgomery, former player Bally Whytock, former club captain Chris Anton as coaches and goalkeeping coach Nathan Downs who’ve been instrumental in the success Luncarty FC have had last season. The talented team will be joined by Amber Shearer, who joins as the clubs sports therapist.
All at Jeanfield believe this to be the perfect fit to allow the club to progress and bring the best out of a talented squad.
The fact that Robbie and his team are keen to promote youth was also a key factor in the appointment and gives us continued optimism in developing the best young talent in the area through our pathway.
Robbie is quoted as saying: I’m delighted to be back. I had some of my best days as a player at the club and although I’ve been away for four years, I’ve kept in touch with a number of people at the club and saw the continued progress being made. I’m excited to get started and I’ll be working hard to bring success in the next chapter of the clubs journey. I’m bringing with me a strong assistant, coaches who played here and the team know what is expected at Jeanfield".
Welcome to Jeanfield.
