Leah makes the move to Perth

Jeanfield Swifts girls are delighted to announce the signing of young starlet Leah Fleming. The talented 13 year old will join up with the club’s under 15s/17s development squad overseen by Donna Shaw and Rab Murdoch. Leah actually started her football career with St Murdoch boys then continued in Arbroath with Inchcape girls, before spending the last two seasons at Forfar Farmington Blue United.

Donna was delighted to secure Leah’s signature. “Leah has undoubted potential and it is our responsibility to make sure she develops in the right manner. With the set up here, we can offer her the opportunity to play at U15s and also at U17s, and I feel that this exposure will assist her development. She is already on the fringes of the U15s National Squad and we’d like to help her break into the full squad in the next 12 months”.

Leah is part of the performance school at St Johns High school Dundee, attends the Regional Development Sessions and has been invited to her second U15s Scotland Education Camp next week.

Leah commented "I would like to say thanks to Forfar Farmington and my coaches for their hard work and time. I am now looking forward to playing with new girls at Jeanfield and training hard with lots of effort and dedication at 11-a-side”.
