After last week's announcement of the new management team for our Under 20's side, more news broke this week when the Scottish Lowland Football League announced the conference set up for the '20s in the coming season.

Jeanfield 20s will compete in the East conference B which will include some very well-known clubs from across the East of Scotland. When the season can begin remains to be seen, but there's a number of great matches ahead, in what looks to be a very competitive division.

New manager Alan Campbell is looking forward to the challenge, "It's great to see so many clubs embracing the opportunity to develop young players at this level and that's going to be our aim at Jeanfield. We'll be looking to build the next generation of players from our local area who can compete at the senior levels of the game. The SLFL have done a great job to make this opportunity available for clubs like ourselves through the '20s."

Campbell, along with assistant Shaun Park, joined the club last week and the pair have already been busy working in the background to prepare for what's ahead.

"I've been impressed with the response from the players already at the club and at the level of interest and support from across the area has been great to see. The conference B is full of well-established clubs, so it is sure to be a tough test in our debut season, but we are very much looking forward to the challenge."
