Jeanfield take to the field on the club's first ever home fixture in the Scottish Cup this Saturday

After notching the result of the round in the first preliminary round Vs Coldstream, Jeanfield welcome their EOSFL Premier Division counterparts Linlithgow Rose to the Riverside this Saturday.

Linlithgow defeated Preston 2-1 in the first Preliminary round whilst Jeanfield defeated Coldstream 9-1 to qualify for the second preliminary round.

It’s sure to be a great occasion with a big travelling support coming from West Lothian.

Jeanfield go into the game with confidence, not just from the big win in the previous round but with an outstanding home performance against Broxburn in the South Region Football Nation Challenge Cup.

Manager Ross Gunnion said “The squad has really looking forward to this fixture as it’s a great opportunity for the team to perform on the national stage. Training has been at a very high standard this week and now the team need to go out and deliver the same standard for ninety minutes”

“We’ve enjoyed a number of close matches with Linlithgow in the past so we expect a good and competitive fixture on Saturday. It’s been brilliant to have so much local support at our recent games and hopefully we’ll have great backing again on Saturday”

The club expect the car park to be busy so please use overflow parking available at Riverside Church and the nearby St Johns School car parks. Or leave the car and hop on the Stagecoach number 9 bus which also stops very close to the ground.

The game has a 3pm KO at the Riverside, Entry is pay at the gate and it's £6 for Adults and Concession tickets at £3.
