Join in the fun as the Riverside Stadium hosts Groundhop UK on its popular tour of Scottish grassroots grounds

A bounty awaits lovers of grassroots football in Perth on Saturday as Luncarty, Kinnoull and Jeanfield Swifts are all at home with staggered kick-off times that let you take in all the games! The match arrangements have been put in place to accommodate the Scottish Groundhop 2024, an organised tour that brings grassroots football fans from across the UK for a feast of football over a single weekend. And while the coveted spaces on the coach are sold out well in advance, you can still buy your match ticket on the gate to be part of the fun!

At Jeanfield Swifts, we welcome Dunbar United in the late kick-off for a fixture that pits third against fifth in the East of Scotland League Premier Division. Despite their higher league position, Jeanfield's form has been erratic of late. Wins against Tynecastle and Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts have been dampened by losses to local rivals Luncarty and Fife outfit Hill of Beath Hawthorn. Nevertheless, Swifts will be hoping the bounce-back started with last Saturday's victory at Meggetland in Edinburgh will see them through to the end of the season. Meanwhile, Dunbar are also well-positioned and like Jeanfield have games in hand over second-placed Hutchison Vale that could yet see both clubs climb the league over the next few weeks. There is still plenty to play for at the sharp end!

Kick-off at the Riverside is at 4.45pm, with the club putting all hands on deck to offer a warm welcome to everyone who comes through the gate. Tickets are £7 for adults, £4 concessions, and U16s get in free. The kiosk will be open with fresh, local produce, not forgetting black and white merch and Jeanie scarves to keep out the early evening chill.
