Jeanfield Swifts Women’s team today unveiled its brand-new away strip, provided courtesy of a brand new sponsorship from Stagecoach East Scotland.

Stagecoach is a big name and a big employer in the city, so to have them as our sponsor really makes a statement about where we want to go.
- Bobby Cochran, Head Coach

The kit will be worn at a range of venues across the North and East of Scotland and will make its first appearance this weekend at King George V Memorial Playing Fields in Leven on Sunday, 14 April when Swifts take on East Fife Development in the Scottish Women’s Football League Division 2 North/East.

Steve Antoniewicz, Chair of Jeanfield Swifts Community Club said “We’re delighted and very thankful for Stagecoach’s support of our Women’s team. It’s fantastic that Stagecoach continue to support their local community here in Perth and we’re proud to be associated with such a successful Perth business”.

Louise Simpson, Operations Manager at Stagecoach East Scotland's Perth depot said: “Jeanfield Swifts is an integral part of the community and Riverside Stadium lies along our 9 route in North Muirton, one of the main bus services into the city centre. We’re really pleased to be associated with such a dynamic and popular local football club, especially the women’s team at a time when support for the female game is increasing.”

Bobby Cochran, Head Coach of Jeanfield Swifts Women’s side, was thrilled at the unveiling of the new strips: “Stagecoach is a big name and a big employer in the city, so to have them as our sponsor really makes a statement about where we want to go. It is fitting to have them sponsor our away kits, as they already transport so many football fans to games up and down the country. We’re very grateful for their support.”
