As a cornerstone of the community with a proud history and a clear vision for the future, Jeanfield Swifts FC is looking for a leader who can not only deliver results on the pitch but also embody the values and culture of the club.

The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

1. On-Pitch Leadership & Performance

Tactical Implementation: Design and execute a playing style that is competitive and matches the club's identity.
Training Sessions: Lead high-quality training sessions (typically twice weekly) focused on tactical shape, fitness, and set-pieces.
Match Day Management: Responsibility for team selection, substitutions, and in-game tactical adjustments.

2. Recruitment & Squad Building

Talent Identification: Identify and recruit players who improve the first team while fitting the club’s wage structure.
Retainment: Manage contract renewals and maintain high morale within the existing squad.
Pathway Integration: Work closely with the Community Club including U20s/Development squad and Amateurs to ensure a clear pathway for young talent into the first team.

3. Management & Administration

Backroom Staff: Recruit and oversee the coaching staff, physios, and kit man to ensure a unified "team behind the team."
Budget Management: Work within the seasonal budget set by the Committee and Treasurer.
Discipline: Maintain high standards of conduct both on and off the field, ensuring players represent the "Swifts" brand with pride.
Player Fines; set player fines and maintain a fine register which is to be provided monthly to the Treasurer.

4. Communication & Engagement

Media Duties: Conduct post-match interviews and provide updates for club social media and local press.
Committee Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Committee regarding team progress, injury lists, equipment/uniform needs and recruitment needs.
Supporter Relations: Engaging with the fans and sponsors to maintain the community spirit of the Riverside Stadium.

Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills, a strong tactical understanding of the game, and a vast network within the footballing community to help bolster our ranks.
