Jeanfield Swifts AFC face Ratho AFC for the first time in their history in the 2nd round of the Scottish Amateur Cup.
Ratho will be bringing a bus load of people to the match so the Swifts have invited them into the Seniors clubhouse for pre match refreshments. All Jeanfield friends and family are also invited.
Jeanfield go into the game confident after a great start to the season but are aware that the unknown Ratho could cause the home side problems.
The amateurs have promoted 2 youth players into the squad for this Scottish cup match using the Jeanfield player pathway. This see’s Ronan Antoniewicz & Daniel O’Callaghan step up into the Amateurs for the first time. Exciting times at Jeanfield with the seniors, amateurs and youths working closer together.
Manager Lee Kelman said “Players are looking forward to the game Scottish cup brings a different element of excitement to a Saturday for the team and training proves that with the lads training well”.
Kick off is 2pm at the riverside with refreshments being served in the Senior Clubhouse from 12:30pm.
