Jeanfield travelled to Aberfeldy for their final game of the season which was a game more for bragging rights as both teams had already secured their positions in the league. With The Swifts sitting in 3rd and beating Breadalbane 4 times throughout the season they were hopeful to make it 5 from 5.
Jeanfield took the lead on the 8th minute when S.Buchan's cross found A.Phillips at the back post 12 yards out, one touch and a brilliant finish found the net. Breadalbane started to get a grip of the game and equalised on the 26th minute. This time from a corner that wasn't cleared, the second cross found the back of the net. At this point it felt like it was going to be another replay of both finals with both teams cancelling each other out. On the 40th minute Breadalbane played some great 2 touch football making their way into the box. The first shot was blocked on the line from a brilliant tackle but the clearance landed at the foot of a Breadalbane player who scored.
Breadalbane came out second half wanting to increase the lead, on the 55th minute that's exactly what they did. A simple ball over the top wasn't dealt with and a good finish made it 3-1. Jeanfield had seen themselves in this situation many times against Breadalbane. This time it wasn't to be as Breadalbane managed to defend well enough. On the 87th minute S.Phillips pulled one back with a brilliant first time strike from outside the box.
