Jeanfield finally started to get players back from injury and were able to field a strong team and a full bench for the first time this season.
It took the Swifts 4 minutes to open the scoring when J.Jardine's shot was saved but landed at the feet of on form B.Carle who calmly netted. Jeanfield kept pushing to double the lead and on the 18th minute after a brilliant one two on the edge of the box K.Mitchell broke through on goal and cooly slotted home with his left foot. On the 33rd minute S.Buchan launched in a long throw that B.Ayton volleyed into the net from close range. The half ended with Jeanfield piling on the pressure but not scoring.
Second half kicked off and instantly the Swifts picked up where they left off. K.Sime won a header at the back post from a corner to make it 4-0. With the game looking like it was under control the Swifts made all their changes but unfortunately their levels then dropped letting Aylth back into the game. The visitors netted on the 52nd, 80th and 85th minute. By the end they looked like they were going to equalise. The Swifts defence stood strong and held on for the win.
