In the Perth & District Cup semi-final clash, Jeanfield, the current holders, hosted Bridgeton at the Riverside.
In the 19th minute, A. Abboud capitalised on great pressing from the front three, robbing the keeper and slotting home the opener. The first half ended with Jeanfield leading 1-0.
In the second half, Jeanfield came out strong. In the 51st minute, A. Abboud doubled the lead from just inside the box after a quick throw from R. Shillian. The score extended to 3-0 in the 70th minute as J. Jardine lashed home from 6 yards following a backheel from B. Carle and build-up play from R. Shillian. Two minutes later, B. Carle made it 4-0, finishing off a great cross from B. Potter, assisted by A. Abboud. B. Carle then secured his brace with assistance from K. MacDonald on the edge of the box. Bridgeton managed a consolation goal in the 85th minute, but A. Abboud completed his hat-trick in the 90th minute.
