In the third match of the Presidents Cup group stage, Jeanfield hosted Letham CC at Riverside with hopes of maintaining their perfect record with three wins out of three.
Jeanfield began the game with an impressive display of football, controlling possession and dictating the tempo. In the 5th minute, they seemed to break the deadlock when R. Green unleashed a powerful shot that struck the bar and crossed the line, but the referee's watch remained silent, denying the apparent goal. However, on the 17th minute, an error gifted Letham the lead, leaving Jeanfield momentarily stunned.
After a period of uncertainty, Jeanfield regrouped, and in the 33rd minute, R. Green turned provider, delivering a precise header across the box for B. Carle to finish emphatically, leveling the score. Energised by the equaliser, Jeanfield surged ahead just before halftime, with J. Jardine converting a well-executed through ball from R. Green to make it 2-1.
The second half saw Jeanfield continue their dominance, extending their lead to 3-1 in the 47th minute as M. McLeod set up A. Abboud for a clinical finish. K. Sime then rose highest from a corner in the 67th minute to head home, putting Jeanfield comfortably ahead at 4-1. Despite Letham's late resurgence and a goal in the 78th minute, Jeanfield sealed the victory in the 86th minute when A. Abboud outpaced the defense, providing an assist for B. Carle to secure his brace from close range.

Man of the Match was awarded to Robbie Green, whose midfield dominance, precise passing, two assists and coming agonisingly close to scoring with his earlier shot off the bar were pivotal in securing the victory. A heartfelt thank you goes to Lilly's Legacy for their support of Robbie and the team.
