The Swifts, who made nine changes to their starting eleven, showed their depth and quality, winning the match by an extraordinary margin.

Jeanfield Swifts opened the scoring in the 3rd minute when S. Philips delivered a corner that A. Abboud headed in unmarked. In the 14th minute, S. Buchan launched a long throw-in that found A. Abboud free in the box. Abboud’s simple cross set up B. Calderwood for an easy tap-in to double Jeanfield's lead.
