Jeanfield hosted Bridgeton at the Riverside for their first encounter of the season, with a place in the Perthshire Cup semi-final up for grabs.
It was the visitors who threatened first, just two minutes in, with a volley from a long ball that forced a superb save from the Jeanfield goalkeeper.
The Swifts took the lead in the 10th minute. A corner from A. Philips was met by K. Sime, whose flick-on found A. Abboud at the back post. Abboud made no mistake, volleying home from a tight angle.
Bridgeton continued to press and were eventually rewarded in the 32nd minute, shortly after being forced into an early substitution due to injury. A cleared corner fell kindly to a Bridgeton player, who struck a fine shot from 20 yards to level the score.
Jeanfield regained the lead just before the break. A. Philips burst forward and played in K. Brown, who cut inside and finished with a superb strike into the far corner.
Both sides created chances in the second half, but neither could find the net again. Jeanfield held firm and secured their spot in the semi-finals.
