Jeanfield travelled to the Seven Acres to face Second Division side Letham Community in the semi-final of the Perthshire Cup.
Letham sat deep as Jeanfield dominated possession in the first half, but the breakthrough goal remained elusive.
After the break, the message was clear: step it up — and the Swifts responded. In the 51st minute, K. Mitchell drove into the box and was brought down, resulting in a penalty that A. Abboud calmly converted.
On 65 minutes, a B. Potter corner found L. Bloomer, who rose highest to head home Jeanfield’s second.
Letham pulled one back in the 72nd minute with a back-post header from a corner, briefly shifting the momentum.
But Jeanfield restored their two-goal lead in the 77th minute when B. Calderwood broke in behind and squared it to J. Howie, who took a touch and slotted past the keeper.
Late in the game, J. Jardine was sent off after receiving two yellow cards for dissent.
