Jeanfield took the short trip over to Almondbank to take on Bridgeton AFC in the League, and the Swifts got on top right away, dominating the fixture from start to finish.

The scoring opened in the 13th minute when Rian Shillan played a perfectly weighted through ball to Jack Jardine. Jardine calmly sat the goalkeeper down before delightfully dinking the ball over him to make it 1-0.

The Swifts doubled their advantage in the 28th minute, a move sparked by a great initial press from Kyle Mitchell. Jack Jardine then did brilliantly down the line, fizzing a low, hard cross into the danger area that deflected off a Bridgeton defender for an own goal.

Just three minutes later, in the 31st minute, a fantastic team move stretching all the way from back to front culminated in a pinpoint cross from Kros Brown. It found Jack Jardine unmarked in the box, and from nine yards out, he applied a composed finish to make it 3-0.

Approaching half-time in the 42nd minute, excellent build-up play involving Rian Shillan and Kros Brown down the wing unlocked the defence. A cute pass found Kyle McDonald, who dispatched a strong finish to send Jeanfield into the break with a commanding 4-0 lead.

The momentum continued into the second half when, in the 52nd minute, a quick throw in into Jardine who slippee a neat pass into the box for Kyle Mitchell, who finished well from fourteen yards out.

Only three minutes after his first, Kyle Mitchell struck again in the 55th minute. Following great work from Rian Shillan, who picked him out on the edge of the box, Mitchell executed a delightful lob over the keeper to stretch the lead to 6-0.

In the 65th minute, Rian Shillan—enjoying acres of space down the right and playing like a prime Cafu—set up the seventh goal. He found Ben Calderwood, who showed great skill to nutmeg a defender in the box before finishing neatly into the bottom corner from six yards out.

A relentless Jeanfield press forced a Bridgeton defender into a handball inside the area in the 67th minute. Jack Jardine stepped up to confidently convert the resulting penalty, securing his hat-trick and the team's eighth goal.

Bridgeton managed to pull one back in the 72nd minute. A short corner routine ended with a speculative cross-cum-shot that looped over the Jeanfield defence and goalkeeper to make it 8-1.

Normal service quickly resumed in the 75th minute. Incredible work down the wing involving Sime, Kyle Mitchell, and Rian Shillan resulted in Rian Shillan drilling a fierce cross over to Ben Calderwood, who hammered a low, hard finish home from six yards out for his second of the game.

In the 85th minute, a strong counter-attack was kept alive by an incredibly brave 50-50 challenge won by Kyle Mitchell. He fed the ball to Aidan Smith, who crossed low for Ben Calderwood to smash in another low, hard finish from inside the penalty area, securing his hat-trick and a 10-1 lead.

The scoring was finally rounded off in the 90th minute as Mark McNiven found the back of the net, sealing an emphatic 11-1 victory for the Swifts on the road.
